Don't Give Up: Our Joy And Hope Is In Christ, Not Circumstances
Our joy and hope are in Christ, not circumstances. If you are like me, you've lived a large portion of your life basing your joy and hope on circumstances: whether you had enough money, the right job, ministry, friends, etc., and you found that you had moments of happiness, but deep down there was this deep-seated uneasiness combined with a lack of joy.
In this book, the author helps readers navigate circumstances and sufferings through shared personal experiences, Bible study, and a focus on building a hope centered on Christ and the joy that results.
Reawaken Joy: How does a blind man see the world? – By Lee Fox
I highly recommend watching this sermon by Lee Fox from Conroe Bible Church in Conroe, Texas. I attended this church for a few years and was afforded the opportunity to teach Sunday School and preach there often. This particular message has a great message and was presented very well.
